During this workshop we will make bowls or mugs from a thumb pot.

A thumb pot is made by pushing your thumb into a ball of clay and rotating and squeezing to form a pot or bowl.

There is enough clay to keep you busy for 2 hours and at the end you choose 4 that I will bake for you and give a colour
Together we come up with a plan, the size, the design, the shape and the color. Where you are free to add your own touch.
You will then start working independently and I will guide you if you have any questions.
During the workshop I will show you 4 color examples from which you can choose.
After the workshop I let the bowls dry and they go into the oven. Then I glaze the bowls in the chosen color and they go back into the oven.
This process takes 4-5 weeks.
I will send you a message when they are ready at the workshop location. And then you can enjoy your own made bowls!!!
The dishes are oven safe and dishwasher safe. Please note, these are handmade products so handle with care!!!
